Healthy Tennessee, a nonprofit organization founded by Vanderbilt orthopedic trauma surgeon Dr. Manny Sethi is hosting a free health fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, July 17 at the Patterson Park Community Center, located at 521 Mercury Blvd. in Murfreesboro.

Feed America First will also be on hand to provide free food distribution and local health-focused companies and organizations will provide vendor booths at the fair.  

“This is our first health fair after the COVID epidemic, and we could not be more excited to get back to Tennessee communities and share better health practices with everyone. We have held dozens of health fairs, summits, statewide seminars and symposiums from one end of the state to the other for a decade. We are focused on meeting people where they are to provide health care solutions and options,” said Sethi, president of Healthy Tennessee.

Dozens of doctors, nurses and healthy lifestyle companies will provide free health screenings, educational information, healthy living products, and tools for all attendees to lead healthier lives.

Many in our community have been hit hard during Covid and this is an opportunity to not just get back to normal, but to make some healthy living life choices that benefit everyone,” said Gernell Jenkins, Patterson Park superintendent.
