After meeting your expert local guide and loading your gear onto mules, you’ll begin your ascent. The trail winds through the Mizane Valley, passing through the charming village of Aroumd and the sacred shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. After a traditional Berber lunch, you’ll continue upward to the Toubkal Refuge, your cozy base camp for the night.

Day 2: Refuge – Toubkal Summit – Imlil – Marrakech

  • Altitude: 3,207m to 4,167m (Summit)

  • Walking Time: 9–11 Hours An early pre-dawn start ensures you reach the peak at the most magical time. The climb is steep and steady, but as the sun rises over the Atlas range, the effort pays off. After celebrating your achievement at the highest point in North Africa, you’ll descend back to the refuge for a well-earned lunch. The journey concludes with a trek back down to Imlil and a relaxing drive back to your accommodation in Marrakech.
